Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including high-quality acoustic upright and grand pianos, amps, and more. Try our "state of the art" piano lab or double-grand concert room. We have spent thousands of dollars on our studio to offer soundproofing and large observation windows to offer a great lesson experience.
Free, all-inclusive music recitals with NO participation fees!
Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital.
Our students have the option of performing in our recitals in our dedicated recital hall, complete with a concert grand piano. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to. Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals.
Optional experiences such as Federation, SAT, AGM, and MAC auditions and competitions are also available.

We strive to bring you the best customer service possible. Most music lesson providers do not provide front desk staff, but we have full-time desk staff who are available at the front desk to assist you during ALL lessons, quickly and professionally. Excellent customer service is what sets us apart!

Month to month lessons
Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 30-day notice.
If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long-term contract.
Early morning and lunch-time lessons for homeschoolers, retirees, college students, and working professionals.
Since we are the fastest growing school in Shelby Township, we are able to be a 'full service' music school.
This allows us to offer lessons as early as 10:00 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
If you are a retiree, or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our Retiree Music Classes.

Dedicated Onsite Recital Hall
Kawai Music Lesson Studios has an onsite recital hall with a concert grand piano. We offer free all-inclusive music recitals for our students. These recitals are a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills and perform in front of an audience. Kawai Music Lesson Studios is committed to providing students with a supportive and encouraging environment where they can learn and grow as musicians.
We do not require semester minimums for lessons even though we are a 12-month program of learning. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis with the convenience of 30-days notice. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long-term contract.
